Sara Spencer, PhD
Marriage in a Box Coach
I have been passionate about assisting individuals, families, and couples achieve relationship satisfaction in a variety of settings and with an array of intervention strategies for over 15 years. I enjoy leveraging the Marriage in a Box system as a tangible and easy-to-follow guide for exploring the most common challenges and growth opportunities in the unique experience of a committed relationship. I have found these tools to be useful for couples in all phases of a relationship, whether you are just starting out and want to build a strong foundation of communication and expectations, or if you are in a long term committed relationship and have come upon changes and transitions in life having an effect on your feelings of connectedness and understanding with your partner.
As your Marriage in a Box coach, I will help you to make meaningful gains with your relationship goals by moving through the sections and cards most relevant to your current relationship needs. We can also be proactive with addressing ongoing relationship growth and development by completing the exercises of cards that are not necessarily a current challenge, yet offer an opportunity for early work on areas that inevitably crop up for many couples at some point in the lifespan of a relationship.
I have earned a PhD in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I am also a Certified Autism Specialist and have worked with numerous individuals and families to successfully navigate relationships.
